The best mihun soup we had in Siem Reap.
It was crowded with the locals having breakfast when we went there.

An old woman came into the restaurant to sell this @ 500 riel . We managed to understand what it was with the help of another local. Taste like jelly, not bad!
Pre Rup Temple 变身塔

The Cambodians have always regarded this temple as having funerary associations but reason is unknown.
Best seen early morning or sunset because of its brick and laterite building.
Be aware while climbing up the stairs, don't worry if you could not get down later as there is a man made wooden staircase at the side with handle for you to get down :)

变身塔是用来举行已逝国王火葬仪式的寺庙。
在这里看日出或日落也是个不错的选择，当太阳在一次从云缝中探出些许光束，朝阳的塔身显现出不同寻常的魅力，仿佛是镀上了一层金色那般辉煌。
爬上去的时候要小心一些，梯级很小又很高；但不用担心无法下来，因为旁边有准备了一个有扶手的木制楼梯。

East Mebon 东梅蓬寺

Located next to Pre Rup Temple.
The Mebon stands on a small island in the middle of the Eastern Baray, which was a large body of water fed by the Siem Reap River. Today the baray, once a source of water for irrigation, is a plain of rice fields and the visitor is left to imagine the original majesty of this temple in the middle of a large lake.
It is an ancestor temple in memory of the parents of the king with following the Pre Rup style art.
Beautiful monolithic elephants stand majestically at the corners of the first and second tiers. Tip: The elephant in the best condition, and the most complete, is in the southwest corner.
So, don't forget to take a picture with the elephants before you leave!

以前是湖中的寺庙历代国王祭祀祖先之祭坛，在东梅蓬寺的第一层及第二层台阶上，四个角落上有与真象相同大小的雕塑。
贴士：西南角的那头象是保留地最完美的。

Banteay Samre

You will pass through a distance of road after ticket checking point to reach the temple.
Banteay Samre is one of the most complete complexes at Angkor due to restoration using the method of anastylosis. The restoration was still going on when we went there.
It has similar art style with Angkor Wat.

This temple is worth the extra effort to experience the elaborate architecture, and fine carvings.
There were only around 6-8 tourists (including us) when we were there.
A very greenish, peaceful place.
从验票处那里要走一小段路才能到达寺的门口。
经过保修复原过程，Banteay Samre 事其中一个保存的最完美的建筑物。我们去的时候，保修复原工作还在进行着。
和小吴哥城有着相似的设计。
这个寺庙很少人，我们去的时候，包括我们在内才大概6-8人。
周围环绕这树，连寺庙里面也有一片片的草地，看了很舒心。

Banteay Srei 女王宫

About 50 minutes of journey from Banteay Samre.
Located near the foot of Kulen Mountain.
The tenth century temple of Banteay Srei is renowned for its intricate decoration carved in pinkish sandstone that covers the walls like tapestry.
从 Banteay Samre 出发，车程大约50分钟。

红色砂岩的浮雕是吴哥窟遗址中格调和艺术技巧的上乘之作。
This greenish grassy paddy field is totally out of our expectation to be found in Banteay Srei!

Ta Som 达松将军庙

Mini Ta Prohm
Replica to Bayon style of art.
In the past one of the significant features of Ta Som was the growth of fig trees the faces at the entrance towers. These have been cut from the east tower but they are still visible at the west one.

Although Neak Pean is small and a collection of five ponds, it is worth a visit for its unique features.
You will have to go through a wooden bridge before reaching the temple.
The view is astonishing!

We were lucky that Jackly brought us here in the evening to avoid crowd so that we can have nicer photos! :)

这原本是在明天早上的行程里，但Jackly却在今天傍晚带我们来，原来是傍晚的人潮少了很多，拍出来的照片比较美！感动~~~ 但明天早上还是会来这里再拍一次！

Navin, who guided us, was very nice and friendly. She guided us step by step, from preparing the ingredients to cooking the food. The food portion was too big and very nice! We couldn't even finish the food although we didn't had our lunch (it's an evening cooking class, preparing for dinner)! So ended up taking away the food. It definitely worths $15 per person! We had a visit to the local wet market as well before the class commenced. We were given a certificate as souvenir at the end of the class. Pictures of us cooking were taken and uploaded on their Facebook. Recipes were emailed to us after the cooking class.
